A Complete Unknown is a complete masterpiece.
The film capture's Dylan's essence as an artist always in the process of "being born," and also his personality as a Grade A jerk to most everyone around him.

I just saw the new Dylan biopic (with my parents! and my youngest son!) and it was magnificent. Timothée Chalamet does a literally incredible job singing and playing Dylan songs; Boyd Holbrook's portrayal as the late, great Jonny Cash was also spot on.
The film looks good, and I'd love to know more details about how it was shot. The film also capture's Dylan's essence as an artist always in the process of "being born," and also his personality as a Grade A jerk to most everyone around him.
A strange creation was the character of Sylvie, who is a composite of I think Suze Rotolo and someone else? (Rotolo would not have gone to Newport in '65). Plus the "Toshi" character has almost no dialog.
In reality, Toshi Seeger played a key role organizing the Newport folk festival, was a music producer, a filmmaker, and an activist. She would have been a formidable personality who deserved more emphasis in the film.
